Christopher Quang Bui was born and raised in the unfrequented parts of the Deep South. He is at work on his first novel. 

Maddie De Pree is a fiction writer from Atlanta, Georgia. They graduated from Furman University in 2020 with a B.A. in English. Their fiction explores addiction, queerness, and class in the American Southeast. They like to collect things.

Rebecca Edgren is a poet and essayist from Tennessee and a few other places. Her writing has appeared or is forthcoming in Cimarron, The Other Journal, The Atlanta Review, Letters Journal, Whale Road Review, and elsewhere. She loves fir trees, Rothko paintings, compost, baggy sweatshirts, and xkcd comics.

Keegan Gore is a fiction writer from Orlando, Florida. He holds a B.A in Creative Writing from Goucher College. He likes to write primarily about memory, the relationship between a person and their environment, and American loneliness.

Augustus Grohmann is a poet and short fiction writer from Arlington, Virginia.  He graduated from the University of Mary Washington in 2022 with degrees in theatre and creative writing.  When not writing, he can be found hiking, designing (and playing) board games or drinking tea.

Kyra Lisse is an essayist from Oreland, Pennsylvania. She is a 2022 graduate of Franklin & Marshall College, where she studied creative writing with a minor in Latin. Her work mines themes of Jewish womanhood and family, the body and trauma, the centrality of play in nonfiction, and the power—for better and worse—of language and metaphor. An editorial fellow for the Jewish Book Council, and an em dash fanatic, she enjoys reading, discussing the oeuvre of Nathan Fielder, and plotting puns for inevitable use.

Eva Lynch-Comer is an Afro-Latina poet with Costa Rican ancestry. She holds a B.A. in Creative Writing from Hamilton College where she received the John V. A. Weaver Poetry Prize and the Sydna Stern Weiss Essay Prize in Women’s Studies. Eva likes to write confessional poetry and she often incorporates fairy tales and mythology into her work. Her writing includes themes of healing, family, love, the divine feminine, nature, music, the ocean, and self-love. In her free time, Eva enjoys singing, journaling, drinking tea, and walking her dog Osito.

Olivia Piper is a writer and a native New Englander. She earned her B.A. in English and Journalism from The University of Connecticut and a Master’s in English Education from Boston University. Her poetry has been published in The Connecticut River Review, Black Fox Literary Magazine, and Funicular Magazine among others. Her work most often explores the complexities of girlhood and womanhood, and is influenced by her love of music, media and the stage. Outside of writing, Olivia loves to sing, binge-watch Netflix, and dream up plans for her very own independent bookstore. 

Willard Ramsey is from Greenville, SC and writes primarily creative nonfiction. He received his B.A. in Art History from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC. His work strives to be a braiding of academic research and personal experience focusing on a variety of subjects including art history, natural science and geometry. 

Marta Regn is a regional writer from Palmyra, Virginia. She holds a B.S. from Washington and Lee University where she constellated her interests in environmental studies and creative writing. She is a recipient of the George A. Mahan Award for Creative Writing, and her work has been published or is forthcoming in Sky Island Journal and HAD.

Ruby Rosenthal is a nonfiction writer from South Florida who enjoys poking fun at her hometown. She likes spicy food, Simon & Garfunkel, and biking down hills — going up them is another story.

Nikki Smith is a fiction writer and sometimes-poet. She’s from Brooklyn, New York but spent her childhood in Scranton, Pennsylvania. In Nikki’s free time she watches movies, paints tiny portraits of animals, eats at restaurants too much, and spends time with her partner and two cats. She writes about trauma, mental illness, and queerness through a speculative, horror-adjacent, and darkly humorous lens. She is currently at work on a novel.
